Who are these unknown gunmen and why do they kill: Untoo

Srinagar, Sep 25, : Chairman International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Mohammad Ahsan Untoo on Friday condemned the killing of Advocate Babra Qadri by unidentified gunman.
Untoo visited Babar Qadri’s house along with his colleagues on Friday and offered his condolences to the family.
While addressing a gathering of mourners at Qadri’s residence, Untoo said that Kashmiris are being killed at will and these killings are put into the account of unknown gunmen, whose identity has never been unveiled.
He said, “There are two types of visible guns, one of the forces and the other of the militants, but the guns handled by unknown men have taken so many lives so far, whose identity has never so far come to fore.”
Untoo said, “The common people and families of the kin, who fall prey to the bullets of unknown gunmen, never get answers regarding the hand and cause involved in and are thus forced to live in a state life-long trauma.”
Instances of such killings, with no trace or face of their killers are not wanting when we look at the killings of Journalist Shujat Bukhari, Advocate Hussam-U-Din Shah, Advocate Abdul Qadir Sailani and now Advocate Babar Qadri , which are the worst kind of Human rights violations”, Untoo added.
He said, “No one knows what was their fault and why were they killed.”
“This must stop and it is the duty of the government to unveil these hidden killers and bring to fore the reason behind such killings,’ he said. (with inputs from KDC)
