Srinagar, November 20 Police today claimed that a youth who had allegedly joined militancy has returned home in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.
The J&K Police in a tweet on Twitter today said that “responding to the appeal of parents one more youth who had joined militants’ returns home in South Kashmir”. A police official identified the youth as Naseer Ahmad Dar, 20, resident of Chimmer, DH Pora Kulgam. He said that he had gone missing since September 20, 2017. “He reported back to home and parents brought hhim to DH Pora police station,” the police official added.
“On my visit to Kulgam I was told another local militant has come back home in response to appeal of his mother and other family members. Great news!” the DGP J&K Police, SP Vaid tweeted. He reiterated that police will facilitate and help youth who have joined militants to return home.
