Admin missing, people as voluntary cleared snow covered road in Seer Sopore

Sopore : The failure of the authorities to clear the snow-covered roads on priority people in Seer village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district came forward as a voluntary on Thursday and cleared snow on 3 kilometer link road which connects village with the town. 


The angry villagers while lashed out on authorities said for the fourth straight day, normal life remained paralyzed in this village after admin failed to clear the snow-covered link road in this village. they said that patients in this area were worst hit after snow covered all link roads cut area with the rest of the world. They added that nobody is bothered to redress the grievances. It seems administration has gone into deep slumber.


The residents talking with Kashmir Despatch said they had to take a woman patient on boat and crossed the river amid heavy snowfall . They said that it was a great struggle to take her to hospital. 
Similarly, same was the case of other patients in the area who had to wait for several hours before they were taken to a hospital.


After the heavy snowfall all the routes in this area are yet to be cleared from snow. Our lives have been made miserable. Administration is missing on the ground with the result we villages came forward voluntary to clean the snow covered road said local resident of Seer village.


While termed this big failure of authorities the angry villagers said that they are spending time in darkness. The authorities are nowhere to be seen on ground.


An official in MC,R&B Sopore after assured media that within soon a team will be deputed to the area to clean the snow covered but till filled this report non of official or any team visited the area.
