Srinagar : The “Rafiabad Premier League” cricket tournament organised by Army’s 32 RR concluded on Tuesday.
In the week long event ten teams of Rafiabad belt including one civil administration team participated.
After the tough competition in the initial stages Watergam B and Dangiwacha A clashed in the final match which was played at Dangiwacha ground in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
Both the teams played well in the clash and which culminated with an exciting win to Watergam B with presence of thousands of people across Rafiabad belt.
The league concluded with a colourful closing ceremony with presence of second in command officer of 32 RR Lt Col RP Gohain, SDPO Rafiabad Nissar Ahmed , SHO Mudasir Geelani , besides officers from civil administration were also present on the occasion.
The winning team was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of twenty thousand rupees while runners were awarded with ten thousand rupees as appreciation for their skills and for their enthusiasm.
