Principal GMC Srinagar tests positive for Covid-19

Srinagar, Oct 17: Principal Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, on Saturday tested positive for CoronaVirus.

Dr. Samia Rashid Principal GMC Srinagar, who was on the forefront of the fight against Covid-19, turned out positive for pathogen on Saturday.

Pertinently, Dr. Samia Rashid is known to have disregarded her age and her position to take it on herself to take care of Covid wards. She would visit Covid wards everyday both at SMHS and CD hospitals. She would attend Covid wards and treat patients regularly.

The medical fraternity in general and at GMC Srinagar, its associated hospitals and SMHS Hospital in particular has, while hailing her role in fight against Covid-19 has said that she would keep technicians working round the clock since April 10 for Covid testing motivated to continue the most distressing and hectic job.

Terming her among the actual Corona warriors, they have prayed for her speedy recovery. (KDC)
