₹27.07 Cr released to SMC for street lights installation: CM

Jammu, March 25: The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today said that an amount of Rs. 27.07 Cr. has been released to the Srinagar Municipal Committee for installation of street lights.


The Chief Minister was replying to a question raised by the Shamim Firdous in the Legislative Assembly.


He informed the House that as per the tripartite agreement between HUDD, JKPDD & EESL, M/s. EESL is maintaining installation along with warranty replacement during the project period of 07 years ending 2027.


He further said that the restoration of defunct street lights is carried by the concerned.
