Srinagar, June 07: Two militants were killed in overnight encounter which broke out between militants and government forces in Panjran area of Lassirpora of south Kashmir’s Pulwama.
A senior Police officer told GNS that three militant bodies have recovered along with as many weapons so far in ongoing operation at encounter site.
He further said that the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Yesterday one militant body was found after initial exchange of firing and after brief lull firing had resumed at the encounter site again.
Till this report was being filed searches were going on at the encounter site.(GNS)
