Time to end long night of suffering for Kashmiris: Imran Khan

After the reports of India and Pakistan locking horns on Line of Control, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, said, “It is time to end the long night of suffering for the people of Kashmir,” and added that the people of Kashmir must be allowed to exercise their right to self determination according to United Nation SC resolutions.


Tweeting a thread on his official twitter handle, he wrote, “The only road to peace & security in South Asia runs through a peaceful & just settlement of Kashmir.”


In another tweet, condemning India’s attack across LoC he said, “Use of cluster munitions in violation of int humanitarian law and it’s own commitments under the 1983 Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons. UNSC must take note of this international threat to peace & security.”
