New Dehli :India has registered 6,535 new coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours, taking the country’s COVID-19 tally to 1,45,380, the Ministry of Health and Family Development said on Tuesday.
The country recorded another 146 deaths in the last one day, taking the fatalities due to COVID-19 to 4,167, the ministry said.
Of the 1,45,380 cases, 80,722 are active, 60,490 have been cured or discharged and 4167 have lost their lives to the deadly virus.
Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat remain the worst-affected states accounting for the maximum number of coronavirus cases in India.
