Srinagar, Nov 26: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old boy allegedly hanged himself to death at his house in the Nowgam area of Srinagar district on Saturday.
An official told Kashmir Despatch, that a minor boy (name withheld) a resident of Summerbugh hanged himself at his home. He said that the exact cause of this extreme step is not yet ascertained.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident.
Pertinently, The increased incidence of suicide attempts, particularly among youth, has become a serious concern for the public in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
