PULWAMA, June 5: 180 Battalion CRPF in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday celebrated World Environment Day at its main headquarters, which was attended by students, social activities, CRPF personnel, Police personnel officials from civil administration and other dignitaries.
The CRPF also organized a Plantation drive, which was inaugurated by Battalion Commandant, in presence of ADC Tral Sajid Yahaya Naqash and other officers, in which many saplings were planted.
On the occasion, the commanding officer has said that, Environment Day should be celebrated every day, while everyone should contribute in making the environment better for new generations.
Similarly, ADC Tral SY Naqash called the pro-environmental activities beneficial for people, and said that admin in Tral will continue to organise such programmes in future.
