Hajin: Rameez Ahmad’s delightful winning goal as Fararri loins Ganderbal triumphed 1-0 in a tight clash with Soccer united Pattan in the going 1st invitation Soccer cup played at sports ground Hajin on Friday.
Both the teams right from the first half played quality football.Rameez Ahmad of Fararri Lions Ganderbal struck the only goal with cute chip that beat the opposite goalkeeper in 23rd minute of the 1st half. The first half ended with 1-0 in favour of Fararri loins Ganderbal..
In the second half of the match there were attacks & counter attacks which marked the specialty of the match. Soccer united Pattan tried to equalize but could not find the net. As referee blew up the final whistle match ended with 1:0 in favour of Farrari lions Ganderbal .
With this win Fararri loins Ganderbal has cemented their place in the last 8.
Rameez Ahmad was awarded man of the match for his brilliant performances
