SRINAGAR, Jun 2: A driver and his helper lost their lives after their vehicle skidded off the road and fell in deep gorge in Verinag area South Kashmir Anantnag district on Friday.
An official said that an accident took place at Rain check chowgund Verinag where water tanker skidded off from the road into deep gorge.
In the incident driver namely Gowher Hussain lone son of Ab Raheem lone resident of Veesu Qazigund and helper Wazir Ahmad Khan resident of Saliyaloo lost their lives, he said. Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and investigation has been started.
