2 drug peddlers held in Bandipora: Police

Bandipora, June 01 : Police on Monday said it arrested two drug peddlers from noth Kashmir’s Bandipora district and recovered contraband substances from their possession.

Police in a statement said Police station Bandipora recived an reliable information that two persons namely Mohd Arif wani son of Msadeeq wani resident of Plan Bandipora and Shamus ud Din son of Bashir Ahmad Bhat resident of Naz Coloney Bandipora have jointly with common intention ,dumped the contraband sposm proxvan capsules in the residential house of Mohd Arif wani, and Above mentioned Shamash ud Din is also there in his house and planing to sell it in town Bandipora and its different adjoining villages among youths with the intentions to diviluge the youths in drug addiction.

As per the statement, after receiving the information Police Station Bandipora registered a case FIR no.56/2020 u/a 8/22 ,29 NDPS, against the dou and investigation set into motion, accordingly Police party accompanied by Executive Magistrate raided the said house and recovered the huge quantity of contraband sposomoprox capsules and arrested both the above mentioned accused red Handley. The investigation is going on, more recoveries and arrests are expected the statement reads.
