2 militants killed in onging Pulwama Gunfight

Pulwama, Oct 20 : Two militants have been killed in an ongoing gunfight which broke out between militants and security forces in Hakripora area of Kakapora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that two militants have been killed sofar in the operation, he however, said the identification of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
The officer said earlier a joint team of Army’s 50 RR, SOG and CRPF conducted searches in Hakripora area following inputs about the presence of some militants.
As search party encircled the target house the hidding militants fired upon them thus triggering a gunfight he added.
Pertinently, earlier two militants were killed in an overnight gunfight at Melhoora area of Zainapora Shopian.
