2 PDP councilors resign from party

Srinagar March 22 : In another setback to Peoples Democratic Party, two councilors today resigned from the party in Srinagar.

Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, councilor of Srinagar Muncipal Corporation” from Eidgah 51, and Farooq Ahmad Mir, councilor from Mahrajganj 51 confirmed to news agency KNS about their decesion of leaving the PDP.

“Since Khursheed Alam sb left the party, we have no reason to stay in the party,” they said.

Earlier yesterday, senior leaders Khursheed Alam and Yasir Reshi resigned from the party.
