Bandipora, Jun 24 : The Power Development Department (PDD) has miserably failed to repair the damaged transformer of Hakabara village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district for the past 20 days, forcing the villagers to reel under darkness.
The residents of Bon-Mohalla Hakabara village told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the transformer in their area developed technical snag almost twenty days ago, but the authorities have failed to repair it since then, causing hardships to the people.
“We are being forced to reel under darkness from the past twenty days as the authorities don’t even bother to look into the matter,” they said
They appealed the district administration as well as the officials in PDD department to look into the matter at an earliest—(KNO)
