All stable says Senior Health official

Handwara, August 25: A passenger bus turned turtle, leaving at least 20 passengers injured in Handwara village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that a bus bearing registration number JK09 0557 was on its way to Tarathpora from Handwara.
He said when the bus reached Batpora the driver lost control over the wheels and bus turned turtle leaving at least 20 passengers injured.
However, all the injured were rushed to Handwara hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a senior doctor at Handwara hospital confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Despatch said, ” We received twenty patients who were injured in a bus accident, he said all the injured passengers were given preliminary treatment and now all are stable,” he added.

A police officer told this newspaper that a case in this regard has been registered.
