New Delhi, Sep 9: Mercedes Benz India launched its AMG C63S today in New Delhi at a price of Rs 1.3 crore onwards (ex-showroom Delhi). The AMG C63S is the 10th model that the company has introduced under the AMG badge. The company is due to release 15 car models in India this year.
Branded the World Car of the Year, the AMG C63S is expands the model range of the new C-Class from the stables of Mercedes. The comprehensive range of the C-CLass models offered by Mercedes-AMG is aimed at discerning customers with an enthusiasm for top performance and the fascination of motorsports.
The hand-built new AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine delivers a massive power output of 375kW (510 hp) at 5500-6250rpm and a torque of 700 Nm at 1750-4500rpm.
The performance oriented AMG C63S can go from 0 to 100kmph in just 4 seconds. Despite its powerpacked performance, the AMG C63S consumes 32 per cent less fuel than the predecessor and is the most economical eight-cylinder car in the high-performance car segment.
Even as the car packs a powerful punch under the hood, its intelligent assistance systems take the occupants’ safety to the next level.
The AMG C63S comes with five dynamic transmission modes: Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Race and individual.
