Srinagar, Feb 13 ; The Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Vijay Kumar, on Tuesday said that there are only 25 local terrorists currently active in the valley. Remarkably, there is only one local terrorist Momim operating in the summer capital city, Srinagar.
Addressing the media at the Police Control Room, ADGP as per News Agency Kashmir Scroll emphasized that the number of terrorists active in Kashmir has significantly reduced to 25.
ADGP said that there are around 20-25 foreign terrorists still present in the valley. However, they are active in the forests areas
The statement comes in the wake of the recent Srinagar attack, in which one terrorist, Adil Manzoor Langoo, was apprehended by the police.m who was involved in the killing of two Punjab workers.(KS)
