Ananthnag, August 05: As Bharatiya Janata Party is celebrating the first anniversary of the removal of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, three BJP workers from the southern region of Kashmir announced to quit the party paying tribute to the Black Day observed in the whole J&K today.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said, Three more BJP leaders resigned from the party today citing various reasons.
Three party workers from southern region of Kashmir among Subzar Ahmad Paddar son of Abdul Satar Paddar Vice President Devsar constituency, Nisar Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Gani Wani of Hakradan Waripora Kund Constituency president and Ashiq Hussain Palla son of Mohammad Abdullah Palla of Waropora Kund have resigned from the party.
The trio announced their resignation on the day when whole BJP party is celebrating the ist anniversary of removal of Article 370.
Pertinently, last month four BJP workers resigned from the party in north Kashmir after the killing of BJP leader Sheikh Waseem Bari, including his brother and father in Bandipora.
BJP General Secretary Ashok Koul had said that some people had joined the party for vested interest.
“Some people (who are resigning) had come from other parties and joined the BJP. They are seeking favours from officials. But officials are doing work for the welfare of people,” Koul told had said.
