Bandipora Sep 11: Three days Khelo-IDPS sports festivel concluded on satuday in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
District Administration Bandipora in collaboration with International Delhi Public School (IDPS) Bandipora was organised this three days Sports festival under “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan” in Bandipora.
The festival was started with Bicycle rally kicked off by SSP Bandipora by flagging off from Gulshan Chowk Bandipora on Thursday on o9 september.Around 42 games had been played in these three days among different student categories.
On the conclusion day the students raised slogans against the Drug Menace. They were chanting slogans like “Say No to Drugs”, “Lets Make Bandipora, Drug Free” to raise the awareness regarding drug menace.
The conculded ceremoney was held at IDPS Bandipora which witnessed participation of large gathering of Local Youth , students, officials from District Administration.Speakers on the occasion cautioned against the rising incidence of Drug Consumption and called upon all stakeholders to take measures at all levels.
They also elaborated upon the role of families, educational institutions ,social organisation and Government departments interventions to arrest the trend of drug menace.
Various other activities against the Drug Addiction have been conducted in these three days across the district.
DDC vice chairperson Shafeeqa Qouser was the chief guest on the concluded ceremony in which prizes has been distributed among the winner studenta in different games.
