Baramulla : Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district claimed to have arrested three drug peddlers and recovered large quantity of illegal drugs from their procession.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch, police spokesperson said on routine naka checking, Baramulla Police arrested 02 drug peddlers namely Shakil Ahmad Beigh son of Fayaz Ahmad Beigh of Faqirbagh Chandoosa & Imtiyaz Ahmad Chopan son of Ab Sattar Chopan of Watergam and recovered 80 grams of Charas like substance each from their possession.
Similarly, during routine naka checking, Baramulla Police arrested 01 drug peddler namely Nadeem Ahmed Chak son of Ghulam Mohiudeen Chak of Qazipora Tangmarg & Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat @ Uka S/O Habibullah Bhat of Ferozpora Tangmarg and recovered 100 grams & 130 grams of Charas like substance respectively from their possession.
In this regard cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Chandoosa/ Kreeri & Tangmarg and investigation set in motion the spokesperson added.
