Srinagar, July 27 : Three persons were apprehended along with arms and ammunition at Sadhana Pass in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that during naka checking which was laid by joint team of Army’s 7 RR, SOG Kupwara apprehended three persons at Sadna Pass.
The official said two vehicles were also siezed.
While sharing further details the official said during checking arms and ammunition were also recovered from their possession include 1 AK 47, 10 pockets of Brown sugar besides other ammunition.
The officer identified trio as Ameer Amin Shiekh son of Mohammad Amin Shiekh of Hajibar Tangdhar, Bashir Ahmad Shiekh son of Ghulam Ahmad Shiekh and Faizan Bashir Shiekh of Bhatpora Tangdhar.
SSP Kupwara was not available for comments when Kashmir Despatch contacted.
