Sopore Police Seized 09 Vehicles For Defying Orders Issued By GOI
Shopkeeper booked for selling Essential Commodities at Exorbitant rates
Sopore April 20: Police across the northern region of kashmir was completely in action by booking 4 shopkeepers for violating the protocol issued by Govt Of India.
Sopore police ensured complete lockdown across the town by making announcement over loudspeakers for the safety of people, despite complete lockdown, 03 shopkeepers and 09 vehicles violated the orders.
Trio business men in sopore were arrested, 9 Vehicles were seized over the violation of the orders issued U/S 144 CrPC. Moreover, the case was registered under relevant sections of laws against violators and investigation has been taken.
It is pertain to mention earlier in a day, the shopkeeper was arrested for selling essential commodities an exorbitant rates Magam, Handwara town. The case Fir No: 130/2020 U/s 3/8 Essential Commodities Act stands registered against him in Handwara Police Station.
