3 weeks on, Nathpora residents reel under darkness

Bandipora, Feb 04 : The residents of Nathpora village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district here have accused the Power Development Department (PDD) of ignoring their plights and have demanded immediate redressal of their grievances.

According to the wire service—, local residents said their transformer developed technical snag almost three week back and the PDD authorities have miserably failed to repair it so far.

The locals further stated that they are being forced to reel under darkness with no steps being taken to repair the transformer.

However, the concerned PDD officials said that the damaged transformer will be repaired soon. (KNO)
