Srinagar, June 28 : A minor boy drowned to death in a water tank in the premises of his house in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
The incident took place at Basgran village of Uri this evening when the 3-year-old boy Raftar Hussain son of Ruksar Hussain was playing on the Verranda of his house and suddenly he fell inside the water tank.
While searching the minor, the family members found him afloat in the water tank and immediately removed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
A police officer also confirmed the incident and said that no case has been registered as it was an accidental death. (GNS)
