3 Young Men Test Positive For Covid-19 In Ladakh, tally 7

Srinagar, March 17 : Three more persons, one of them a 25-year-old and two others in early 30s, on Tuesday tested positive for coronovirus, taking the number of such patients to four in union territory of Ladakh.

Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel told GNS that the trio had come in contact with the persons who had arrived from covid-19 affected Iran. “All of them are male and one of them is a 25-year-old and 2 others are in early 30s,” he said.

He also informed that there are now seven patients who have tested positive for the coronavirus and that all of them have been kept in isolation. One of these patients tested positive on Monday. The two persons who had earlier tested positive had a history of travelling to coronavirus-hit countries and their person who tested positive on March 12 had come in contact with his father, already a patient of covid-19.
