30th Road Safety Week held at Sankoo

Kargil, 6 Feb : In order to Continuing its efforts to reach out to the maximum number of masses during 30th Road Safety Week like in other parts of kargil this was organised by the Motor Vehicle Department Kargil(MVD) at community Health Centre Sankoo on Wednesday at conferences Hall of Community Health centre sankoo the theme was“ Sadak Suraksha-Jeevan Raksha”.

On this occasion Block Medical officer Sankoo Dr Munawar Hussain and paramedics staff were also present.

This long week programme is commencing from 4th Feb and concluded on 10 February 2019

Around hundred of drivers including including senior citizens, from block sankoo on the occasion

Speaking in this occasion ARTO officer Kargil said, in his address that main objective of observing this week is to spread road safety awareness among general masses in order to reduce the scale of fatal road accidents.
He further stated that collective efforts would make a significant impact on the incidence of road accidents and help to remove the scourge of road accidents in the state.

Meanwhile speakers on the occasion while highlighting the importance of the week emphasized for following traffic rules, wearing helmet, avoiding use of mobile phones while driving and rash driving.
