Ganderbal 15 Oct : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday arrested four gamblers in Lar area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and recovered a stake money of Rs 13,810 from their possession.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that acting on tip off, a police team raided a gambling site at Repora and apprehended four gamblers. Stake money Rs 13810 was seized on the spot, and all the gamblers arrested.
The accused have been identified as Abdul Rashid Sheikh s/o Mohammed Sidiq sheikh r/o Tulmulla ,Abdul Majeed Dar s/o Gulam Rasool Dar r/o Pir mohalla Tulmulla, Nazir Ahmed Bhat s/o Gulam Nabi bhat r/o Dangerpora Gbl, Mohammad Sami ganai s/o Mohammad Sidiq Ganai r/o New colony Tulmulla.
In this connection case Fir No. 82/2020 u/s 13 gambling Act stands registered and investigation taken up officer added.
