Police in South Kashmir’s Awantipora claimed to have arrested four terrorist associates and recovered incrimating material from their procession.
Police In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads Security forces have arrested four terrorist associates of proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Tral. They have been identified as
1) Mudasir Ahmad Naik S/o Farooq Ahmad Naik R/o Tral Payeen
2)Umar Nazir Sheikh S/o Nazir Ahmad Sheikh R/o Kuchmulla
3)inayat Firdoos Rather S/o Firdoos Ahmad Rather R/o Tral Payeen
4)Salman Nazir Lone S/o Nazir Ahmad Lone R/o Kounserbal Tral
Incriminating materials of proscribed terror outfit Jaish-eMohammad,was recovered from their possession.
It is pertinent to mention here that, all the arrested terrorist associates were involved in providing logistics support and transportation of arms & ammunition to the active terrorists of proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Tral and Awantipora areas of Police District Awantipora.
In this regard, a case vide FIR No.134/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Tral and further investigation initiated.
