4 Shops Burgled In Mandi Market Poonch

Srinagar, Mar 3 : Burglars decamped with goods and cash worth lakhs of rupees as they struck four shops in Mandi area of Poonch district overnight, reports and officials said on Wednesday.

They said that thieves carried burglary in two cloths shops, Hardware and a tailoring shop in Sadder Bazaar area of the Mandi market.

The shopkeepers demanded immediate arrest of the burglars as also installation of CCTV cameras in the busy market amid “growing incidents of thefts” in the area. Station House Officer Mandi Bashir Kohali said that the burglars would soon be behind the bars. (GNS)
