Ganderbal: A 42-year-old woman died after drowning in a canal in central Kashmir’s GAnderbal district on Tuesday evening officials said.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that one lady aged around 42 years old identified as Mst. Rehti Begum wife of Abdul Salam Chopan a resident of Ganiwan drowned in a canal in the district, however, after hectic efforts the body was retrieved from the canal by a team of police, and locals.
