Pattan, January 17: The 45 Battalion of Central reserve Police force on Wednesday organised free medical camp under civic action program at Tangpora area of Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per the statement issued here, the medical camp was inaugurated by senior Citizen Mala Begum and Wali Ahmad Dar, in the presence of Sh. Apoorwa, Commandant 45 Bn CRPF and Officers of 45 Bn CRPF.
Gh. Mahamuddin Mir, Sarpanch of Tangpora Panchayat along with officers of 45 Bn CRPF, Sumbal, Nasir uddin War Vice principal of Govt. High School Tangpora, and other dignitaries of area were also present on the occasion.
The CAP for medical benefit was assisted by Dr. Mohd. Azhar from 03 Bn CRPF, Dr. Syed Afaq Ah. Shah from 45 Bn CRPF, Dr. Abdul Rashid from CHC Hajin, Dr. Atika. Dr. Aaina from CHC Sumbal also participated in extending medical treatment to the local populace.
The programme included free medical checkup and distribution of essential medicines for illness. Large numbers of people, especially old aged Male and Female from Tangpora and nearby villages were benefited by free medical consultation and treatment.
290 Villagers including Male & Female were provided medical benefits during the Programme. Local residents of Tangpora and adjoining villages who received medical benefits highly appreciated the event organized by 45 Bn CRPF.
