50-Bedded AYUSH Associated Hospital Opens in Sopore

Sopore, Nov 14 : In an effort to enhance healthcare facilities in Sopore, a 50-bedded AYUSH Associated Hospital has commenced operations at the NTPHC building in Hygam Sopore.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that the hospital is equipped with essential medical facilities and staffed by specialized doctors.

He said this facility aims to cater to the entire population, ensuring immediate treatment and sufficient capacity to accommodate patients.

The official further said that the establishment of this hospital is a fundamental requirement for the eventual setup of a Government Medical College in the area, addressing the long-standing aspirations of the people of Baramulla.

Taking to Kashmir Despatch, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore (ADC) S. A. Raina stated that there has been a significant demand for alternative healthcare in Sopore for quite some time. Now with this 50-Bedded AYUSH Associated Hospital the rush at the hospital will be reduced, he assured that better quality healthcare facilities will be provided.

He emphasized that their ongoing effort is to serve the public more effectively across all sectors, whether in health, education, or sports. He remarked that Sopore should not be considered inferior to any other town.

The ADC noted that the youth and children in this area are incredibly talented, and day by day, they are representing Sopore at both national and international levels through their skills and efforts.
