60-year-old man dies in scuffle in Handwara

Srinagar, March 20 : A man died in a scuffle at Kralgund area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara distrit on Friday evening.

“A scuffle between two neighbours broke out at Safalpora in Kralgund on some land dispute. One person identified as Ghulam Mohammad Bhat (60) got injured seriously after hit by Mohd Subhan Bhat during the scuffle,” a police officer told news agency.

Bhat was shifted to nearby hospital by his family for treatment. However, Bhat succumbed later,” he said.

On this information Kralgund police station filed a case under section 307 /302 IPC against the accused and further investigation taken up reported GNS.
