65 year old injured in bear attack in Kupwara

Kupwara, Sep 14 : A 65-year-old man on Monday was attacked and injured by a wild bear in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that a man in his 70’s was attacked by a wild bear at Muqam-e-Shahwali area of Kupwara on Monday afternoon.

However, he was taken to nearby hospital for treatment.

A health official also confirmed this Incident to Kashmir Despatch and said the condition of injured is said to be stable. The officer identified him as Mohammad Ahsan Shah son of Ghulam Qadir Shah.
