7 injured in road inccident on Mughal road

Shopian, Apr 28 : Atleast seven people were injured in a road accident on the historic Mughal road in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.

An official told news agency—Kashmir Observer News (KNO) that a Tempo moving towards Srinagar skidded off the road and fell into a gorge.

“Atleast seven persons sustained injuries in the incident”, said the official, adding that police and medical teams have rushed to the accident spot. He added that injured have been shifted to District hospital Shopian for treatment.

He identified injured persons as Muriyam (06) daughter of Mohd Rayaz , Saima Kounser (15),
Naweed Awan (13), Sofia Akhter (12), Amjid Khan (15), Mohd Yousaf Khan (60) and
Shakeela Begum (30)—(KNO)
