7 injured on Jammu-Srinagar Highway

Jammu: At least seven people were injured in a road mishap on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Friday, officials said.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that on Friday an accident took place at Hassan Bass Gangroo when a truck bearing registration number JK22B-8973 collided with a Tempo bearing registration number JK12-4075, resulting in injuries to seven people.

The official said all the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for advanced treatment.

The official identified all the injured as Mudasir Ahmed son of Mohd Ashraf of Neel, Nazir Ahmed son of Abdul Qayoom of Chamalwas, Rayees Ahmed son of Mohd Iqbal of Malogam, Farooq Ahmed son of Mohd Iqbal of Chamalwas, Wasim Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed of Pogal, Naseer Ahmed son of Mohd Abdulla Shiekh of Chareel Banihal, and Shakeel Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman of Maligam Pogal (Driver Tempo).
