9 More Die in Kashmir, JK COVID Death Toll Rises to 527

Srinagar, Aug 14 : With the fresh nine COVID related deaths the toll rose to 527 in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that nine more persons became victim of this deadly virus on Friday.

He said among the fatalities including a 65-year-old woman from Buchpora Srinagar, a 62-year-old man from Akingam Anantnag, a 70-year-old man from Gulab Bagh Srinagar, a 55-year-old woman from Kathi Darwaza Srinagar, an 85-year-old man from Sopore, a 60-year-old woman from Chanapora Srinagar, a 70-year-old man from Pattan Baramulla, a 70-year-old man Pampore Pulwama and a 65-year-old man from Batamallo Srinagar.

The Kashmir COVID fatalities toll now stands at 488 while 39 persons also lost their lives because of this virus in Jammu Division.
