The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, said on Wednesday that 50 lac male and female players from the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir have participated in various games in the last 3 years.
As per the Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Sinha, addressing a large gathering of table tennis players on the 84th senior national and interstate table tennis championship in Jammu, said that from the last 3 years, people have been given the opportunity to show their talent in the different fields of sports.
He added that in the last three years, world-class sports infrastructure has been established so that the youth of J&K excel in sports.
The lieutenant governor said more than 900 players are participating in this table tennis tournament.
