Srinagar, April 17 : Special Investigation Unit presented a chargesheet in NIA court in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district against a militant.
In a statement, SIU filled the chargesheet in case FIR No. 40/2022 under section 3.I.A Act 13,16,18,18-B,38 UAP Act before the court of Additional Sessions Judge NIA Court Baramulla.
The statement reads the case pertains to the arrest of a militant Nisar Ahmad Bhat in Wasran Taripora forests who along with other militants whi were preparing to carry out militant activities. “He was arrested by joint team of Police, 52RR, 46RR & 53Bn CRPF during a cordon and search operation.”
It added the chargesheet was presented against Nisar Ahmad son of Mohd Akbar resident of Shrakwara presently lodged in district jail Baramulla and late Hilal Ahmad Sheikh. “However, investigation in respect of accused militants Usman alias Usman Bai and Ali Sajad alias Sajad Bai, both residents of Pakistan shall continue,” it reads.
