An official from the JK Board of School Education while talking to Kashmir Despatch categorically refuted claims of non-issuance of examination forms, terming such reports as fabricated and baseless.
In response to allegations made by certain local dailies, the official clarified that the board does not endorse bias or conspiracy against any institution.
The official stressed that the board, as an affiliating-cum-examining body, acts as a facilitator and medium of support for academic institutions. The clarification aims to address misleading information and ensure adherence to norms and factual records.
According to the official, academic institutions must adhere to the guidelines and norms set by the J&K BOSE and the Government School Education Department. Failure to comply with mandated document submission cannot be overlooked, and any claims for refuge based on non-compliance are deemed invalid.
The official highlighted that the J&K BOSE prioritizes the interests of students and remains committed to facilitating them. The board operates within the framework of rules and guidelines established by the government, ensuring the rights of students to pursue their educational goals are not compromised.
He emphasized the board’s awareness of student interests and its commitment to providing necessary facilities. The official cited relevant sections of the School Education Act-2002 and subsequent rules and amendments governing the establishment and functioning of private academic institutions.
The official reiterated that the J&K BOSE does not deny any institution the right to provide mandatory education. The board affirms its dedication to safeguarding the academic interests of enrolled students, ensuring their appearance in public examinations. The process is underway, and students from three schools have already benefited, with others set to follow suit.
The official vehemently refuted the allegations against the JK BOSE, considering them unsubstantial. The board remains committed to transparent and accountable processes, working in the best interests of students and the academic community.
