Vows To Take PoK Back, Hits Back At Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, May 15: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while reacting to former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, said it has been five years since the abrogation of Article 370 and “Khoon ki Nadiya chodo, kisi ki kankar jalane ki himmat nahi hai” (Leave the river of blood, no one has the courage to ignite someone’s ember).
The Union Home Minister was addressing people in West Bengal, where he stated as per Kashmir Despatch that earlier, there used slogans of freedom in Kashmir, but now it’s in PoK. He said PoK is part of India, and we will take it back.
Amit Shah, while addressing the people, said that Kashmir is part of India. He said he was told by Mamata Banerjee, Congress, Syndicate, and others not to abrogate Article 370 because it would lead to “Khoon Ki Nadiya Behenge” (Rivers of blood will flow). However, he said it was the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and it has been five years of only peace, development, and a lifetime connection of Kashmir with India.
He said that before the abrogation of Article 370, Kashmir used to witness strike calls, but now it’s being seen in PoK.
In an election rally in West Bengal, Shah said that Farooq Abdullah, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee can fear Pakistan if they want, “but this PoK belongs to India and we will take it.”
He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir belongs to India, and only India should get it.
Pertinently, Farooq Abdullah had said, “…They (Pakistan) are also not wearing bangles. It has atom bombs, and unfortunately, that atom bomb will fall on us.”
