Bandipora, August 23 : Senior National Conference leader Hilal Akbar Lone has leveled serious allegations against jailed MP Er. Rashid, claiming that he is a BJP agent.
Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, NC leader Hilal Akbar Lone as per Kashmir Despatch cautioned the people, urging them not to be swayed by hollow and emotional slogans, as was the case in the previous Lok Sabha elections, where people were misled and exploited.
He warned the people to be vigilant and not fall victim to such misconceptions again.
The NC leaders stated that Er. Rashid is an agent and is working on the instructions of the BJP.
Lone also alleged that Rashid is receiving favorable treatment in jail, unlike others arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
“Engineer Rashid has been making video calls from jail, a privilege not extended to others. This clearly indicates that he is acting as a proxy for the BJP to weaken the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir,” Lone asserted.
During a party convention in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, Lone appealed to the people of Ajas to support him in the assembly elections, promising to change their destiny as he had done in Sonawari.
