Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir – The Women’s Premier League Baramulla, organized by the Baramulla Cricket Forum in collaboration with the Dagger Division, concluded with an exhilarating finale that showcased the remarkable talent and spirit of female athletes. Held at St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, the finals featured an electrifying match between Anantnag and Baramulla in the professional category, with Anantnag clinching the championship after a closely fought battle. In the amateur category, the spotlight was on DPS and Government Girls Higher Secondary School, where the latter emerged victorious in a nail-biting contest.
The matches were filled with high-quality cricket, with Talat Raina of Anantnag stealing the show and earning the Player of the Match award for her outstanding performance. “Playing in this league has been an incredible experience, and I am honored to contribute to our team’s success,” Raina stated after her pivotal performance.

Major General PS Punia, SM, VSM, GOC Dagger Division, graced the event as the Chief Guest, lauding the dedication, skill, and sportsmanship exhibited by all participants. Special awards were presented for categories like Best Player of the Tournament and Emerging Player of the League in both amateur and professional divisions.
