Bandipora, Oct 28: The Minister of Health, Education, Medical Education, and Social Welfare, Sikana Itoo, announced that all promises made by the National Conference regarding the people of Kashmir will be fulfilled soon.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a review meeting in Sumbal, Bandipora, Itoo stated that the government will soon adopt a transfer policy aimed at easing the transfer issues faced by employees in various sectors across Jammu and Kashmir.
“Many employees have been working in challenging zones for years, and we are prioritizing their transfers,” she said.
Itoo also inaugurated an auditorium at GDC Sumbal, which was completed at a cost of approximately 10 crore rupees. She was accompanied by Director of Higher Education Tasaduq Wani, MLA Sonawari Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone, and other education officials.
During her visit to the CHC Hajin, Itoo reviewed several ongoing projects and assured that a dialysis machine, which has been non-functional for several months, would be operational by tomorrow.
“The elected government is committed to resolving public issues. The vacant posts in the health department are a concern in every district of Kashmir, and we are actively working to fill these positions in the health sector,” she added.
