The Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sopore Constituency, Irshad Rasool Kar, today visited Sopore Hospital to assess the available healthcare facilities.
During his visit, the MLA took stock of the medical care facilities and the availability of essential services for patients. He inspected the ICU, emergency wards, and other units of the hospital to gather a first-hand appraisal of their cleanliness and the services provided.
Engaging with the Block Medical Officer (BMO) and other staff, the MLA emphasized the importance of quality healthcare, particularly in the hospital’s emergency wards.
“This hospital receives a large number of patients, and its central location serves a vast area; therefore, we need to have facilities and resources available to address the needs of patients effectively,” he stated.
During the interaction, the MLA reiterated, “The development of the health sector is not only my top priority but also that of our National Conference government. We will not tolerate any compromise in providing better healthcare.”
While inspecting the hospital, MLA Irshad Rasool Kar also interacted with patients and their attendants, gathering on-the-spot feedback about the healthcare services offered.
