Srinagar, Nov 26 : On Constitution Day, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted the full integration of Jammu and Kashmir into India’s constitutional framework, a process accelerated by the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.
Nadda celebrated the achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, particularly noting the oath of allegiance to the Constitution taken by leaders, office bearers, and workers at the event.
Nadda emphasized that under Modi’s leadership, Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed complete constitutional integration, enabling equal rights and responsibilities for its citizens.
He also lauded the historical significance of the 2019 decision, marking a decisive moment in the region’s alignment with India’s constitutional ideals.
“This move was a step toward greater unity and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring they are no longer isolated from the benefits and protections granted by the Indian Constitution,” he said.
