Sopore, Dec 31 : The Station House Officer (SHO) of Sopore stated that we cannot be successful until we think and take action for our society.
Speaking at a private function, SHO Sopore Syed Ayaz Geelani said, “First, I am a member of society, then I am an officer.” He emphasized that everyone should consider how to contribute positively to their community, stating that only by working together can we build a successful society.
Syed Ayaz Geelani remarked that often we see individuals shying away from their responsibilities, despite the fact that we are all equal parts of the system.
He said, “We often think that our goal is to secure a government job, but this mindset distracts us from the need to contribute to our own society first. We must become reasonable and responsible citizens, living correctly within our community, and move forward with collective efforts to ensure our society thrives.”
He added that instead of blaming one another, we should work together to build a better society. “Let’s strive to create an educated society where every individual plays their part.”
He noted that while we may all be literate, we need to cultivate educated behavior that will lead to positive changes in society.
He also shed light on the increasing issue of drug abuse and appealed to everyone to work together to combat it, in order to save the future of our children who are being drawn into this menace.
He stated that while there are programs being conducted to address drug abuse, it is more important to pay close attention to our children, giving them our full attention. He emphasized that, alongside being a parent, a teacher can play a crucial role in guiding and supporting children.
